Taipei 101 - A 'Classic' Skyscraper

final pic taken from 89th floor observatory

official mascot of Taipei 101 - this cartoon mascot thing is very popular everywhere in East Asia

no luck understanding the english translation to the right for me...

world's largest 'tuned mass damper' - a big ball that swings like a pendulum to reduce wind and seismic energy hitting/disturbing the building.

overall, probably the best skyscraper observatory experience I can remember.

one of my first days here. stumbling around and saw it by accident :)

Taipei - Overall

As you might have guessed, these are all my pics from Taipei that is not food or about the skyscraper.

Japanese 'dollar superstore' i used to like. overly crowded and nothing special at this one.

Most famous and active temple in Taiwan. Longshan - probably means dragon mountain but I didn't look it up.

by accident? i doubt that. #deathtoamerica

turtle family at the balcony of my hostel

this Wang knows ALLabout fertility. the logo on the left kinda looks like the arms up 'idk' emoji too lol

that turtle on the outside seemed stuck, i was about to help him, but he was able to BLOOP back into the water

these two little wiener dogs reminded me of two other wiener dogs in Texas :)
